John and Debbie Stanley of Lee's Summit, Missouri, announce the engagement of their daughter, Hilary Elizabeth Stanley, to Kenneth John Schmitz. John and Debbie Stanley of Lee's Summit, Missouri, announce the engagement of their daughter, Hilary Elizabeth Stanley, to Kenneth John Schmitz. He is the son of Ken and Maureen Schmitz of Cape Girardeau.

Hilary received a master's degree in occupational therapy from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is employed at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

Kenneth received a bachelor of science degree in finance and banking from UM-C. He is a budget analyst for the city of St. Louis.

An Oct. 25 wedding is planned in Kansas City, Missouri.
