Spears-Broch

Brad and Rose Spears of Bell City, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathryn Anne Spears, to Alex Joseph Broch of Scott City. He is the son of Harlan and JoNell Broch of Washington, Mo.

Spears is a 2002 graduate of Bell City High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in early childhood education from Hannibal-LaGrange College at Hannibal, Mo., in 2006. She is an elementary teacher with Advance School District.

Broch is a 2003 graduate of Washington High School. He is a 2006 graduate of SEMO Law Enforcement Academy. He is employed by Ste. Genevieve County Sheriff's Department.

A Nov. 24 wedding is planned at St. Denis Church in Benton, Mo.
