Smothers - Kluesner

Harlan and Doris Smothers of Gordonville announce the engagement of their daughter, Bethany Smothers, to Scot Kluesner. He is the son of Pete and Kim Kluesner of Chaffee, Mo.

Bethany is a 2006 graduate of Jackson High School, and is a student at SoutheastHEALTH College of Nursing and Health Sciences. She is employed at Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield.

Scot is a 2004 graduate of Oran High School, and is a student in the IEC program at Cape Girardeau Career and Technology Center. He is employed at Kluesner Electric.

An Oct. 12 wedding is planned at Centenary United Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau.
