Smith-Eftink

Blair and Dory Smith of St. Louis announce the engagement of their daughter, Susan Ashley Smith, to Scott Michael Eftink of St. Charles, Mo. He is the son of Leon and Mary Jane Eftink of Cape Girardeau.

Smith is a graduate of Principia Upper School, and received a degree in recreational administration from Central Methodist University. She is a softball coach at Nerinx Hall High School in St. Louis.

Eftink is a graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School, and is pursuing a degree in business at Central Methodist. He is co-manager of The Remodeling Room in St. Charles.

An Oct. 7 wedding is planned at the Larimore Plantation House in St. Louis.
