Small - Miller

Bradley and Janell Small of Hoyleton, Ill., announce the engagement of their daughter, Heather Jana Small of Cape Girardeau, to Lawrence Anthony Miller. He is the son of Linda Miller of Jackson, and the late Raymond Miller.

Small is a 2001 graduate of Nashville High School. She received bachelor degrees in special education and elementary education from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale in 2005. She is a high school special education teacher with Jackson School District.

Miller is a 1992 graduate of Jackson High School. He received an associate degree in industrial electricity from Linn Technical College in 1994. He attended Southeast Missouri State University Law Enforcement Academy in 2003. He is employed with Jackson Police Department.

A summer wedding is planned at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson.
