Simmons- Raines

Jody Simmons of Cape Girardeau announces the engagement of her daughter, Samantha Jo Simmons, to Nicholas Andrew Raines. He is the son of Gary and Cindy Raines of Cape Girardeau.

Simmons is a 2000 graduate of Jackson High School. She is employed at Finch and Moss Law Firm.

Raines is a 1997 graduate of Central High School. He received a bachelor's degree in business management from Southeast Missouri State University in 2001. He is employed at Schnucks and Target.

A July 17 wedding is planned at Cape County Park South.
