Shirrell - McCormick

Clayton and Sherri Shirrell of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Erica Shirrell, to Zach McCormick. He is the son of Jim and Glenda McCormick of Springfield, Mo.

Shirrell is a 2010 graduate of Central High School. She expects to graduate in December from Missouri State University, where she is majoring in accounting. She is employed by Jack Weimer, CPA, in Springfield.

McCormick is a 2009 graduate of Glendale High School in Springfield. He expects to graduate in December from MSU with double majors in finance and IT service management. He is employed at Schweitzer UMC in Springfield.

A July 27 wedding is planned at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Springfield.
