Shipley-Knowlan

Randy and Barb Shipley of Dayton, Ohio, announce the engagement of their daughter, Megan Marie Shipley, to Garrett Wayne Knowlan. He is the son of Jack and Bonnie Knowlan of Jackson.

Shipley received a bachelor of science degree in early childhood from Ohio University in 2004. She is a third grade teacher with Miamisburg School District in Dayton.

Knowlan received a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering and a master of science in systems engineering from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 2002. He is stationed with the U.S. Air Force at Los Angeles Air Force Base, Calif.

A July 5 wedding is planned in Dayton.
