Shinn-Sherinski

Gerald and Jane Shinn of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Allison Renee Shinn, to Adam Jacob Sherinski. He is the son of Joe and Melanie Sherinski of Jackson.

Shinn is a 1999 graduate of Jackson High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in accounting from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 2002, and a master of business administration degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2004. She is employed at The Boeing Co. in Hazelwood, Mo.

Sherinski is a 2000 graduate of Jackson High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2004. He is a mechanical design engineer with Global Surgical Corp. in St. Louis.

An Oct. 1 wedding is planned at Zion United Methodist Church in Gordonville.
