Seyer - Thomas

Lawrence and Ellen Seyer of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachel K. Seyer, to Adam Thomas, both of Thebes, Ill. He is the son of Kenton and Paula Thomas of Thebes.

Seyer is a 2007 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in criminal justice from Southeast Missouri State University in 2011. She is employed with Midamerica Hotels Drury Restaurants.

Thomas is a 2005 graduate of Egyptian High School. He received an associate's degree in art and science from Shawnee Community College in 2007. He is employed with Thomas Farms.

A Nov. 10 wedding is planned at Cape First.
