Schwab-Huffman

Marilyn Schwab of Cape Girardeau announces the engagement of her daughter, Ginger Schwab of Sanford, Fla., to Jacob Haskell Huffman IX. He is the son of Kelye Reese of Pell City, Ala., and the late Jacob Huffman VIII. Schwab is also the daughter of the late John A. Schwab.

Schwab is a 1993 graduate of Central High School, and received a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Southeast Missouri State University in 1998. She is a K-5 space specialist at Goldsboro Elementary Magnet School in conjunction with NASA in Sanford.

Huffman attended Pell City High School. He is employed at Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouse of Cape Girardeau.

An Oct. 7 wedding is planned at St. Andrew Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau.
