Schott -- Ackman

Jeff and Angie Schott of Kelso, Missouri, and Cindy Schott of Glen Carbon, Illinois, announce the engagement of their daughter, Britney Paige Schott of Kelso, to Curtis Ryan Ackman of Jackson. He is the son of Janet Ackman of Jackson and the late David Ackman.

Britney is a 2009 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School in Cape Girardeau. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in exceptional child education and elementary education from Southeast Missouri State University in 2013. She is a kindergarten teacher at St. Augustine School in Kelso.

Curtis is a 2002 graduate of Jackson High School. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in physical education from Southeast Missouri State University in 2010. He is a teacher at Cape Girardeau Central Junior High School.

An Oct. 29 wedding is planned at St. Augustine Church in Kelso.
