Donald and Jill Scherer of Barnhart, Missouri, announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Loren Scherer, to Dustin Paul Glastetter. Dustin is a 2005 graduate of Central High School. He received bachelor of art degrees in German and history from Southeast in 2010. He is employed by Missouri History Museum and St. Louis Art Museum.

A Nov. 1 wedding is planned at Redeemer Church in St. Louis.
