Scheffer - James

Charles and LaDonna Scheffer of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Kelli Louise Scheffer, to Terry Michael James. He is the son of Eddy and Bonnie James of Jackson.

Scheffer is a 2002 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School. She received a certificate in radiologic technology from Southeast Missouri Hospital College of Nursing and Health Sciences in 2005. She is a Cat Scan technologist at Saint Francis Medical Center and Cape Radiology Group.

James is a 1998 graduate of Jackson High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in criminal justice in 2004, and is pursuing a master's degree in business at Southeast. He is a trooper with Missouri State Highway Patrol.

An April wedding is planned in Destin, Fla.
