Gona Salo and Maria Lina Sanchez of Morungaba, Sao Paulo, Brazil, announce the engagement of their daughter, Silvana Sanchez, to Robert Bryan White, both of Valinhos, Brazil. White is a 1986 graduate of Central High School, and received a degree in chemical engineering from Purdue University in 1991. He is senior consultant with KBC Consulting of Houston, Texas, and is currently on assignment in Campinas.

A Dec. 10 wedding is planned at Iavoski Eventos in Valinhos.
