Ruiz-Kessler

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Ken and Ginny Ruiz of Chaffee announce the engagement of their daughter, Meagan Kendra Ruiz, to Staff Sgt. Jonathon Richard Kessler. He is the son of Beth York of Chaffee and James Kessler of Evansville, Ind.

Ruiz is a 2000 graduate of Chaffee High School, and attended Southeast Missouri State University. She is employed in the billing department at Brain and NeuroSpine Clinic of Missouri, LLC.

Kessler is a 1997 graduate of Chaffee High School. He completed tours of duty in Korea and Iraq, and is enlisted as a non-commissioned officer in the U.S. Army Reserve. He is employed with Drury Inn Electronics.

An Oct. 7 wedding is planned at Black Forest Villages in Cape Girardeau.
