Richards - Neal

Danny and Jodi Richards of Ellington, Missouri, announce the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Jo Richards, to Matthew Joe Neal, both of Cape Girardeau. He is the son of Tim and Joyce Neal of Cape Girardeau.

Stephanie is a 2007 graduate of Southern Reynolds County High School. She received an associate degree in nursing from Southeast Hospital College of Nursing and Health Sciences, and a bachelor's degree in nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing. She is pursuing a master's degree at Maryville University. She is a registered nurse in the surgery department at Saint Francis Medical Center.

Matthew is a 2003 graduate of Jackson High School, and received a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He is employed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

An Aug. 8 wedding is planned at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau.
