Reidy -- Griffith

Kevin and Nancy Reidy of Johns Creek, Georgia, announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Meagan Reidy, to Christopher Scott Griffith, both of Denver. He is the son of Dr. Kent and Debbie Griffith of Cape Girardeau.

Melissa is a 2005 graduate of Alpharetta, Georgia, Centennial High School. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2009 with a degree in biology and Spanish and graduated from the Medical College of GA (Georgia Regents) in 2013. She completed a three-year residency in internal medicine at the University of Colorado in Denver in 2016 and is in the first year of her rheumatology fellowship at the university.

Chris is a 2006 graduate of Cape Girardeau Central High School. He received a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2013 and completed a three-year residency at the University of Colorado in Denver in 2016. He is a physician at Keiser Permanente in Denver.

A Sept. 3 wedding is planned at Our Lady of the Mountains in Estes Park, Colorado.
