Dan and Beth Powers of Trenton, Texas, formerly of Cape Girardeau, announce the engagement of their daughter, Anna Marie Powers, to Edward Blake Ammerman. He is the son of Pam and Terry Henderson of Trenton. Mrs. Henderson is also formerly of Cape Girardeau.

Powers expects to receive a degree in elementary education this fall from Texas A&M University in Commerce.
