Pogue-Miller

Bryan and Darlene Pogue of Fredericktown, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Shaen Layle Pogue, to Gregory Reid Miller. He is the son of Hershel and Barbara Miller of Cape Girardeau.

Pogue is a 2000 graduate of Fredericktown High School. She received a bachelor of fine arts degree in creative writing from Stephens College in 2003, and expects to receive a master's degree in library science from the University of Missouri-Columbia in December. She is a children's services librarian with Ozark Regional Library System, based in Ironton, Mo.

Miller is a 2000 graduate of Central High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in mathematics from Pennsylvania State University in 2005. He is an actuary with Mercer Health and Benefits in Kansas City, Mo.

A March 8 wedding is planned at First Baptist Church in Fredericktown.
