Pogue - Burk

Tim and Connie Pogue of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Moretta Magdalena Pogue, to Tyler Franklin Burk. He is the son of Steve and Donna Oldham of Jackson and Gary and Carol Burk of Cape Girardeau.

Pogue is a 2003 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Southeast Missouri State University in 2007. She is a registered nurse at Saint Francis Medical Center.

Burk is a 2003 graduate of Jackson High School. He expects to receive a bachelor of science degree in finance from Southeast in May. He is employed at Northwestern Mutual.

An Aug. 16 wedding is planned at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso, Mo.
