Phares - Lage

Patrick Phares and Martha Phares of Normal, Ill., announce the engagement of their daughter, Alyssa Susan Phares, to Jeffrey Daniel Lage, both of Cape Girardeau. He is the son of Dori Lage of Cape Girardeau, and the late Wally Lage.

Phares received a bachelor of science degree in historic preservation from Southeast Missouri State University. She is a second semester graduate student at Savannah College of Art and Design. She is employed at the Southeast Missourian.

Lage attended Southeast University. He is owner and CEO of Consultative Marketing Group in Cape Girardeau.

An Oct. 30 wedding is planned in Savannah, Ga.
