Parres - Birk

Thomas B. Parres Jr. and Debora A. Parres of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Kelly Renee Parres, to Josh Michael Birk. He is the son of Terry L. Birk of Jackson, and the late Donna J. Birk.

Parres is a 1998 graduate of Jackson High School. She is a graduate of the nursing program at Cape Girardeau Career and Technology Center. She is a nurse at Saint Francis Medical Center.

Birk is a 2000 graduate of Jackson High School. He received a degree in criminal justice from Southeast Missouri State University in 2007. He is a driver with Tague Trucking.

A June 19 wedding is planned at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
