DEXTER, Mo. -- Rick and Loretta Morrow of Dexter announce the engagement of their daughter, Kara Amy Morrow, to Ronald David Glaus II. He is the son of Ronald and Laura Glaus of Kelso, Mo.

Morrow received a bachelor's degree in communication disorders from Southeast Missouri State University in 2000. She is working toward a master's degree in speech/language pathology.

Glaus received a bachelor's degree in mining engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla in 2001.

An Oct. 26 wedding is planned at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dexter.
