TAMMS, Ill. -- James and Jerri Miller of Tamms announce the engagement of their daughter, Alexa Janae Miller, to Daniel Dean Lawson. He is the son of Deena Lawson of Chaffee, Mo., and Charles Lawson of Holts Summit, Mo.

Miller is a 2010 graduate of Egyptian High School. She is employed at Heartland Care and Rehab Center in Cape Girardeau.
