Michelsen - Renes

ORAN, Mo. -- Eric and Valerie Michelsen of Oran announce the engagement of their daughter, Erica R. Michelsen, to Matthew L. Renes of Vienna, Mo. He is the son of Paul and Laura Renes of Edmond, Okla.

Michelsen is a 2007 graduate of Oran High School. She expects to receive a degree in elementary education from Lindenwood University in May 2011. She is employed at Little Guppy Child Development Center in St. Charles, Mo.

Renes is a 2003 graduate of Edmond Memorial High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in accounting and a bachelor of arts degree in human resource management from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2007. He is employed by Turkey Hill Ranch Bible Camp.

A Dec. 18 wedding is planned at Cape Bible Chapel in Cape Girardeau.
