Metje - Billig

Randy and Kim Metje of Staunton, Va., announce the engagement of their daughter, Keri Metje of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., to Joshua Billig of Charleston, S.C. He is the son of Joe and Teresa Billig of Anderson, S.C. The Metjes are formerly of Cape Girardeau.

Metje is a 2003 graduate of Radford University. She is a corporate event planner with Champion Exposition Services.

Billig received a bachelor of science degree in business from The Citadel in 2006. He expects to receive a master's degree in health administration from the Medical University of South Carolina in May, and will begin a fellowship with the University of Virginia Medical Center in July.

A Sept. 6 wedding is planned at The Citadel's Summerall Chapel in Charleston, S.C.
