Medlin - Brinkmeyer

Darrell and Cheri Medlin of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Meridith Elizabeth Medlin, to Jeremy Robert Brinkmeyer. He is the son of Denise Brinkmeyer of Cape Girardeau, and the late Robert Bruce Brinkmeyer.

Medlin is a 2007 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School. She expects to receive a bachelor's degree in middle school education from Southeast Missouri State University in May. She will be a teacher at Notre Dame Regional High School this fall, and will be assistant volleyball and soccer coach.

Brinkmeyer is a 2005 graduate of Notre Dame. He received a bachelor's degree in secondary education from Southeast in 2011. He is a teacher at Oran High School and is head girls basketball coach and assistant baseball coach.

A June 23 wedding is planned at St. Mary's Cathedral.
