McQuay-Schaefer

Scott and Brenda McQuay of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Erica Laine McQuay, to Fred Ludwig Schaefer III. He is the son of Fred and Sylvia Schaefer Jr. of Castro Valley, Calif. McQuay received a bachelor of science degree in chemistry from Southeast Missouri State University. She expects to receive a master of science degree in chemical oceanography from Oregon State University this spring...

Scott and Brenda McQuay of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Erica Laine McQuay, to Fred Ludwig Schaefer III. He is the son of Fred and Sylvia Schaefer Jr. of Castro Valley, Calif.

McQuay received a bachelor of science degree in chemistry from Southeast Missouri State University. She expects to receive a master of science degree in chemical oceanography from Oregon State University this spring.

Schaefer received a bachelor of science degree in mathematics from Harvey Mudd College, and a master of science degree from Oregon State. He is a credit risk analyst at HSBC in Tigard, Ore.

A May 27 wedding is planned at Chapel on the Hill in Albany, Ore.
