McLain-Zimmer

Randy and Judy McLain of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie Nicole McLain, to Kevin Zimmer, both of St. Louis. He is the son of Ron and Carol Zimmer of St. Louis.

McLain is a 2000 graduate of Central High School, and attended Southeast Missouri State University. She is the east area director with Special Olympics Missouri.

Zimmer is a 1992 graduate of Bishop Dubourg High School in St. Louis. He is attending Prescott College in Prescott, Ariz. He is a professional instructor with St. Louis County Parks Department.

An Oct. 6 wedding is planned at Hope United Church of Christ in St. Louis.
