William and Pamela McGhee of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, FredaMae McGhee, to Don Christian. William and Pamela McGhee of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, FredaMae McGhee, to Don Christian. He is the son of Susan and James Jarrell of Bloomfield, Mo., and Don Christian of Dexter, Mo.

McGhee is a 2003 graduate of Jackson High School. She expects to receive a degree in social work from Southeast Missouri State University in May. She is employed at Payless Shoesource.

Christian is a 2003 graduate of Bloomfield High School. He received a certificate from Sikeston Career and Technology Center for completing the two-year television production course. He is employed at KBSI-TV Fox 23.

A June 23 wedding is planned in Cape Girardeau.
