TAMMS, Ill. -- Barbara McCrite and Danny and Julie McCrite of Tamms announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda McCrite, to Joshua Lindley. He is the son of Daniel and Rebecca Lindley of Glenallen, Mo.

McCrite is a 1997 graduate of Egyptian High School, and is attending Shawnee Community College.

Lindley is a 1997 graduate of Woodland High School. He is employed at Safety Kleen Corp. in Cape Girardeau.

A July 17 wedding is planned at Sandy Creek Baptist Church in Tamms.
