McCormick - Brueggeman

Marianne McCormick of Cape Girardeau and Dean McCormick of Scott City announce the engagement of their daughter, Deana Marie McCormick, to Barry Eugene Brueggeman. He is the son of Sam and Jane Brueggeman of Shipman, Ill.

McCormick is a 2002 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School, and a 2006 graduate of Quincy University. She is a special education teacher with Jackson School District.

Brueggeman is a 1999 graduate of Southwestern High School in Piasa, Ill., and a 2004 graduate of Quincy University. He is employed at Metro Marble and Granite in Pontoon Beach, Ill. He plays arena football with the River City Rage in St. Louis.

A July 12 wedding is planned at Immaculate Conception Church in Jackson.
