McAlister-Winters

Talmas and Lena McAlister of Scott City announce the engagement of their daughter, Eva Marie McAlister, to Nicholas John Winters, both of Cape Girardeau. He is the son of John and Suzzanne Winters of Ste. Genevieve, Mo.

McAlister is a 1999 graduate of Oran High School. She received a medical assistant degree from Metro Business College in 2004. She is employed by Dr. Robert L. Ward.

Winters is a 1998 graduate of Ste. Genevieve High School. He received a bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies from Southeast Missouri State University in 2002. He is employed by Progressive Insurance Co.

A May wedding is planned at Christ Church of the Heartland.
