Maybry-Shaver

David and Charlotte Maybry of Memphis, Tenn., announce the engagement of their daughter, Joanna R. Maybry, to Phillip J. Shaver, both of Cape Girardeau. He is the son of William and Sara Shaver of St. Louis.

Maybry received a bachelor of science degree in sociology from Southeast Missouri State University in 2000, and is pursuing a master's degree. She is a residence hall director at Southeast University.

Shaver received a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Southeast in 2002. He is employed by Schwan's Fine Foods.

A March 20, 2004, wedding is planned at First Presbyterian Church in Cape Girardeau.
