Martin - Landers

Rick and Donna Martin of Burfordville announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Ella Gene Martin, to Richard Michael Landers, both of Sikeston, Mo. He is the son of Kevin and Sandy Landers of Sikeston.

Martin is a 2007 graduate of Jackson High School. She received a bachelor's degree in social work from Southeast Missouri State University in 2010. She is employed at Family Counseling Center Inc. in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

Landers is a 2005 graduate of Sikeston High School. He attended Blackburn University and Southeast University. He is employed at Brown Shoe Warehouse in Sikeston.

An Aug. 4 wedding is planned at Old McKendree Chapel in Jackson.
