Mahy - Christian

Tom and Linda Mahy of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Sheryl Lynn Mahy, to Ronald Gene Christian Jr., both of Dexter, Missouri. He is the son of Julie and Keith Stanley of Williamsville, Missouri, and Ron and Tracy Christian Sr. of Bloomfield, Missouri.

Sheryl is a 2004 graduate of Central High School, and a 2006 graduate of a practical nursing program in Cape Girardeau. She is director of nursing at River Mist, assisted living by Americare.

Ron is a 1998 graduate of Bloomfield High School. He is a sales manager at Autry Morlan Inc.

An Oct. 11 wedding is planned at St. Joe General Baptist Church in Idalia, Missouri.
