Layton - Cardin

Tim and Annita Layton of Kelso, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Tasha Marie Layton, to Matthew Stephen Cardin. He is the son of Stephen and Donna Cardin of Cape Girardeau.

Layton is a 2005 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School. She is pursuing a degree in business from Southeast Missouri State University. She is employed by the National Call Center for Drury Hotels.

Cardin is a 2002 graduate of Central High School. He expects to receive a bachelor of science degree in corporate communications from Southeast in May. He is employed by Hometown Innovation Team.

A May 30 wedding is planned at St. Mary's Cathedral.
