Kight - Welch

Joe and Karen Kight of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Kasey Jo Kight, to Derek Michael Welch. He is the son of Mike and Belinda Welch of Utica, Kentucky.

Kasey is a 2008 graduate of Jackson High School. She is a pharmacy tech at Jones Drug Store in Jackson.

Derek is a 2008 graduate of Daviess County High School, and a 2011 graduate of Eastern Kentucky University. He is a trooper with Kentucky State Police.

A Sept. 13 wedding is planned at The Ashley Inn at Meadow Lake Equestrian Center in Lexington, Kentucky.
