Kennon -- Gromer

Justin and Michelle Kennon of Cape Girardeau and Aaron and Mona Pate of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Alicia Gabrielle Kennon, to Jesse Lee Gromer, both of Cape Girardeau. He is the son of Gary and Vickie Gromer of Marble Hill, Missouri.

Alicia is a 2011 graduate of Cape Girardeau Central High School and expects to graduate in September from the Cape Career and Technology Center with an LPN degree. She works at Saint Francis Medical Center.

Jesse is a 2007 graduate of Woodland High School. He is a specialty welder for Turner Specialty Services.

An Oct. 22 wedding is planned at the Gromer farm in Marble Hill.
