Johnson-Neumeyer

Joyce A. Johnson of Cape Girardeau announces the engagement of her daughter, Jill Renee Johnson, to Shawn Lane Neumeyer. He is the son of Glenn and Pat Neumeyer of Jackson, Mo. Johnson is also the daughter of the late James W. "Jay" Johnson.

Johnson is a 1994 graduate of Notre Dame High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in radiologic sciences from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale in 1999. She is employed in the ultrasound department at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

Neumeyer is a 1994 graduate of Jackson High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in agriculture business from Southeast Missouri State University in 1999. He is employed by Nothdurft Farms at Oran, Mo.

A June 1 wedding is planned at St. Mary's Cathedral.
