Johnson received a doctor of pharmacy from St. Louis College of Pharmacy. She is a pharmacist at John Cochran VA Medical Center in St. Louis.

Petroline received a bachelor of science degree in marketing from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville. He is employed at Premier Knowledge Solutions in St. Louis.
