Jensen-Bucher

Mark and Mary Beth Jensen of O'Fallon, Ill., announce the engagement of their daughter, Rebecca Claire Jensen, to Dean Alan Bucher. He is the son of Denis and Sharon Bucher of Jackson.

Jensen is a 2002 graduate of O'Fallon Township High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2006. She is a second lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force, doing civil engineering at Vandenberg AFB, Calif.

Bucher is a 1998 graduate of Jackson High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2003, and received a master's degree in aerospace engineering from Georgia Tech in 2005. He is employed at The Aerospace Corp. in Los Angeles, Calif.

A Sept. 15 wedding is planned at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in O'Fallon.
