LEOPOLD, Mo. -- Norman and JoEllen Jansen of Leopold announce the engagement of their daughter, Janice Rose Jansen, to Gabriel Perry Scherer. He is the son of Fred and Christy Scherer of Bell City, Missouri.

Janice received a bachelor of science degree from Southeast Missouri State University in 2011. She is studio manager at Photography by Carrie.
