Huber - Thomas

Patty Huber of Jackson announces the engagement of her daughter, Emily Huber, to Jared Thomas. He is the son of Jimmy and Robin Thomas of Cape Girardeau. Emily is also the daughter of the late Nick Huber.

Emily is a 2007 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in early childhood and elementary education from Southeast Missouri State University. She is a third grade teacher at Immaculate Conception School in Jackson.

Jared is a 2006 graduate of Central High School. He received an associate of applied science degree in electrical distribution systems from Linn State Technical College. He is a journeyman lineman with Citizens Electric Cooperative in Perryville, Missouri.

A June 20 wedding is planned at St. Mary Cathedral in Cape Girardeau.
