Hotop - Boyd

Kenny and Cynthia Hotop of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Diane Hotop, to Daniel Christopher Boyd, both of St. Louis. He is the son of Robert and Margaret Boyd of St. Peters, Mo.

Hotop is a 2002 graduate of Jackson High School. She received a bachelor's degree in mass communications in 2006, and a master's degree in English in 2009, both from Southeast Missouri State University. She is a disability determinations officer with the state of Missouri.

Boyd is a 1996 graduate of Marquette High School. He received a bachelor's degree in computer science in 2001 from the University of Missouri, and a master's degree in business administration in 2009 from Lindenwood University. He is an information security engineer at Savvis Communications.

An April 17, 2010, wedding is planned at Immaculate Conception Church in Jackson.
