Hoffman - McIntosh

A.D. and Judy Hoffman of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Danielle Carla Hoffman, to Lucas David McIntosh. He is the son of Dr. Douglas and Joyce McIntosh of Jackson.

Hoffman is a 2006 graduate of Jackson High School. She received a bachelor of arts degree in English from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2009, and a master's in business administration from Augsburg College in Minneapolis, Minn., in 2011. She is a financial analyst at Medica Health Plans in Minnetonka, Minn.

McIntosh is a 2005 graduate of Jackson High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology at Rolla in 2009. He is pursuing a doctorate in chemical engineering at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in Minneapolis.

An Oct. 27 wedding is planned at New McKendree United Methodist Church.
