Hertenstein - Crowell

Steve and Debbie Reynolds and Mike and Tammy Hertenstein of Mt. Vernon, Ill., announce the engagement of their daughter, Casey Nicole Hertenstein, to Jason Glennon Crowell, both of Cape Girardeau. He is the son of Terry and Terry Crowell of Cape Girardeau.

Hertenstein received a bachelor of science degree in education from Southeast Missouri State University. She is development officer with Saint Francis Medical Center Foundation.

Crowell received a bachelor of science degree in economics from Southeast University, and a juris doctorate from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He is a partner with Osburn, Hine, Yates and Murphy, LLC. He is a Missouri state senator representing the counties of Bollinger, Cape Girardeau, Madison, Mississippi, Perry and Scott.

An Oct. 15 wedding is planned at Centenary United Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau.
