Heisserer - Maschmann

Gene Heisserer of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and Butch and Cathy Dirnberger of Oran, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Sara Elizabeth Heisserer, to Elliot Thomas Maschmann, both of Paragould, Ark. He is the son of Darryl and Betty Maschmann of Cape Girardeau.

Heisserer is a 2000 graduate of Oran High School. She received a master's degree from William Woods University in 2009. She is a teacher at Paragould Expansion Headstart.

Maschmann is a 2001 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School. He received a master's degree from the University of Arkansas in 2009. He is an agronomist with Armor Seed in the Northeast Arkansas area.

A Dec. 15 wedding is planned at the Riu in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
