Heisner - Holzum

Eugene and Connie Heisner of Pinckneyville, Ill., announce the engagement of their daughter, Kendra Deneise Heisner, to Brian Louis Holzum, both of Cape Girardeau. He is the son of Melvin and Dianne Holzum of Leopold, Mo.

Heisner is a 2001 graduate of DuQuoin High School in DuQuoin, Ill. She received a bachelor of science degree in interior design from Southeast Missouri State University in 2007.

Holzum is a 1999 graduate of Leopold High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in electronics and industrial technology from Southeast in 2004.

A May 24 wedding is planned at St. John's Catholic Church in Leopold.
